Here is how to quote:

I fix a lot of quote tags. When you are trying to quote someone, then the quote tag should look like this:
Code: Select all
[quote]Jason fixed your quote tag[/quote]

That makes it look like this: :
Jason fixed your quote tag

When you quote by using the "quote" button on the bottom of the post then the software automatically places the quote tags around the text. All you need to do is verify that it says:
Code: Select all
[quote="JJBAKER"]Jason cares to much about little details, how annoying... [/quote]

That makes it look like this:

Please take note that youtube and vimeo video embedding is enabled to offer members the option to watch videos right from within the post, rather than having to leave the site. The process is rather simple, and when you find a video worth sharing, or just to try it out, feel free to do so.

When responding to or writing a new post, you can see a new "youtube" and "vimeo" select button right next to the center select button. Once you push it, you will see two codes appear within the text box which are setting the parameters within the database to show and display the video.

Youtube

The code which appears in your browser may look like this:
Code: Select all
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XVgCqsHi3g&feature=related

Process:

1. Select video to embed off youtube.
2. Look at your browser address bar. A link to a video would look like this: [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XVgCqsHi3g&feature=related]
3. Select everything before the & and embed between the youtube code shown above.

Code: Select all
[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XVgCqsHi3g[/youtube]

Vimeo:

For vimeo the procedure is slightly different:

When you first get to vimeo, the link in your browser looks something like this:

Code: Select all
http://vimeo.com/7743200?ab

In order to show it here, you need to add and remove things.

1. We'll add a www. at the right position behind the double forward slashes.
2. We'll remove any question sign and content behind it.

The new code looks something like this:

Code: Select all
http://www.vimeo.com/7743200

Placing this link (it's the actual url of the video) between the vimeo tags.

Have fun!
